Job Description
My client, based in Peterlee, is one of the most recognised employers in the North East. They are currently recruiting for an Administrator to provide support to their Telecoms sales team.
Key duties include:
• Administrative support for sales staff including creation of customer accounts and account numbers.
• Provide the relevant information to Accounts Department to credit check potential customers.
• Liaise with sales staff and customers regarding credit check results if necessary.
• Process customer orders using a variety of suppliers’ ordering platforms.
• Ensure that service charges are correctly applied to customers’ accounts.
• Update and liaise with customers, agents and sales staff regarding order progress.
• Liaise with suppliers regarding the progress of orders.
• Provide first line customer service for customers.
• Other duties that will be required from time to time.
The successful candidate will have:
• Previous sales administration experience.
• Strong IT skills – including MS Word & Excel.
• Excellent telephone manner.
• Organisational skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
